James is a Consultant at Ardens specialising in construction and engineering law. James graduated from Kings College, London University in 1992 and qualified as a solicitor in 1996 and has over 27 years construction industry experience. His practice covers a wide spectrum of commercial development, residential and mixed-use construction and development projects acting for developers, funders, contractors and consultants.
He has particular expertise in the drafting and negotiation of all forms of building and civil engineering contracts, development and funding agreements, professional appointments, warranties and related project documentation. In addition he advises on all methods of construction procurement including strategic framework and/or partnering strategies.
James is a member of the Society of Construction Law and regular participant at construction law conferences plus bespoke training sessions for clients.
